SHOW SUMMARY: In our latest episode of Alan4L’s ProWres Paradise, PWTorch columnist Alan4L is joined by Suit Williams for the August edition of “What’s on the Telly?” In this monthly series, Alan and his guest will each pick an episode of wrestling TV from that month in the past and break it down. Despite a combined runtime of approximately 90 minutes for the two shows spotlighted, this discussion ends up going nearly twice that length! On tap was a 2016 NXT from Full Sail with a big-time main event pitting American Alpha against The Revival in a 2/3 Falls blow-off match, and a 1983 episode of World Class from the Sportatorium which similarly showcased great tag team wrestling as the Von Erichs and Freebirds battled it out for the six-man titles. Alan and Suit were also treated to a healthy dose of Iceman King Parsons, some Jimmy Garvin greatness, prime Bayley, Balor-Nakamura build, and much more, including a wrestler who was a real revelation on the NXT show.
