-The third hour of Dynamite, henceforth known as Collision, started with Will Ospreay on the mic after his tag victory. He said he’s honored to be world champion for the AEW fans. He said Jon Moxley has been alive for as long as AEW has been. He said he wanted to say something to Moxley, “Thank you.” For guidance, for being the ace, for breaking him, and making him the man he is today. Ospreay said that the one thing he learned from Moxley that will stick with him is that “this is what it’s all about.” He held up the world title. He said Moxley just ended up in the ocean with a great white shark because he is the world champion.
The crowd chanted for Ospreay as Moxley left the commentary table and entered the ring. Moxley asked Ospreay if he felt like the champion, standing across the ring from him. Gabe Kidd attacked Ospreay from behind, but he ducked the attack, and Kidd nearly hit Moxley. Kidd pulled up short, and Ospreay dispatched him. Ospreay responded to whether or not he feels like the champion and emphatically said yes (in colorful/bleeped language).
-HBOMax officially transferred over to Collision here. Jack Perry was backstage, reminding everyone that he wanted to face best and walk among the killers. He said no one is more of a killer than Shibata. Perry said he’ll have to scratch, claw, and survive Shibata to climb the mountain that is Samoa Joe.
-Renee was standing at the top of the ring and welcomed The Divine Dominion out for a face-to-face with the Brawling Birds. Bayne Kross stepped out to the stage as their music played. The Brawling Birds’ music played, and they stepped out with the tag titles. A stagehand brought out a round table with cookies and tea. Hayter and Windsor went for the cookies as Kross asked if that’s what they think they deserve. Bayne said even if they’re undefeated, they don’t deserve the tag titles. Kross added that they’ve beaten them in singles matches and will beat them at All Out. Hayter and Windsor took a sip of tea. Hayter smashed Bayne across the head with the teapot, and they began to brawl. Bayne tossed Hayter across the tea table before Kross and Bayne slammed Hayter and Windsor down on the stage.
-They showed a video from after Dynamite last week with The Conglomeration. O’Reilly was saying they’ll get back on their feet, but Strong interrupted him and yelled that he can’t do that anymore, because they are champions. Strong said he can’t do it anymore and stormed off.
(1) THE CALLIS FAMILY (“The Jet” Kevin Knight) vs. THE OUTRUNNERS (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum)
Kevin Knight’s music played and he walked halfway down the ramp and waited for Fletcher’s music to hit. Fletcher stepped out alongside Don Callis and they made their way to the ring as a team. The /Outrunners’ music played and they made their way out with Dalton Castle before continuing to the ring on their own. The bell rang to start the match 16 minutes after the hour.
Fletcher forced Floyd into the ropes, but Floyd ducked a clothesline and landed a chop. Floyd flexed, and Fletcher came back with a kick to the gut, a running clothesline, and a running boot. Knight tagged in and Fletcher gave Flord a scoop slam before popping Knight up into a splash onto him. Knight made the cover, but Floyd kicked out at two.
Magnum got a blind tag and hit a running knee on Knight. Floyd added a spinning back suplex. Floyd and Magnum set up for the double elbow drop, but Fletcher dragged Truth out under the ropes. Knight beat Magnum into the corner and stomped away before tagging in Fletcher.
Magnum dumped Knight to the outside, but Fletcher nailed him with a running kick that knocked Magnum out of the ring. Knight added a running, flying clothesline from the apron to Magnum on the outside. Fletcher and Knight posed as they went to commercial. [c]
Back from break, Fletcher planted Magnum with a full nelson slam and Knight hit a low sliding shoulder block. Knight made the cover, but Magnum kicked out at two. Magnum crawled for the cover, but Knight pulled him back. Magnum knocked Fletcher off the apron and caught Knight with a backdrop to make the hot tag to Turbo.
Turbo entered with right hands and a scoop slam for Fletcher and Knight. Turbo took down Fletcher and Knight with a combination running bulldog and clothesline. Turbo and Magnum set up for the “You Son of a Bitch” elbow drop on Flether. Turbo made the cover, but Knight made a diving save.
Fletcher caught Turbo with a half-and-half suplex. Fletcher hit a thrust kick that knocked Magnum off of the apron. Fletcher drilled Turbo with a brainbuster and Knight added a UFO splash. Knight made the cover and got the win.
WINNERS: The Callis Family in 10:00
Renee entered the ring and asked Knight and Fletcher if their momentum will carry into Saturday. Fletcher took the mic and said they’ve got it from here. Fletcher told the crowd to say his full name, but they only booed. Fletcher said if they want to run into the fire, they’re going to get burned on Saturday at All Out. Fletcher told Don that he didn’t initially like Knight but said they’re now working as a well-oiled machine. Or a family. Don touched his chest, clearly moved by this sentiment. Fletcher said it’ll be a cakewalk even if they’re not on the same page. Fletcher said they will become the number one contenders for the AEW World tag team championships.
Darby’s music played, as Trent and Rocky waited by the entryway to ambush Darby and Steven. Instead, Darby appeared in the rafter with Steven Borden. Darby had a microphone and said they’re waiting for All Out. He said he’s not stupid enough to get jumped by all fifty members of the Callis Family. Darby asked if he remembered what happened last time they tangled. Knight said he only lost because he got jumped by Borden bunch. Knight said he’s been playing by Darby’s rules, but on Saturday they’re playing by Knight and Fletcher’s rules. Knight said it’ll be a cakewalk against the rookie, Steven Borden. Darby said not to call it an upset when they lose to him and the rookie.
(White’s Take: Fletcher and Knight both looked crisp against the obvious underdogs. Theoretically, they should be able to beat The Outrunners easily, but they’ve got commercials to think about and the crowd still likes Th Outrunners. The promo between Darby, Fletcher, and Knight afterwards was well done to highlight the basic story going into their match on Saturday.)
-They ran down all the announced matches for All Out.
-Jericho’s music played and a small subsection of the crowd sang “Judas.” Jericho made his way to the ring as they showed a replay of Jericho beating Nick Wayne last week and Wayne’s postmatch attack. Jericho said he beat Wayne clean in the middle of the ring and afterwards got kicked in the “plums.” Jericho said he didn’t like that, but he appreciated someone taking advantage of a situation. Jericho called Wayne down to the ring.
Nick Wayne’s music played and he walked to the ring wearing a black suit. Wayne said he’s a smart guy and a damn good-looking. He said all the women would swipe right on his face. There was an isolated pop from roughly two women. Wayne said anyone who’s trusted Jericho in the business has ended up with a knife in their back. Jericho said that was a fair point. Jericho said he’s taken advantage of situations many time. Jericho asked why Wayne has so much animosity for him when they have so much in common. From their start to even being an egotistical young wrestler. Jericho asked Wayne if he knew who Nick Bockwinkle was. Wayne said of course he does. Jericho said he was on a show with Bockwinkle in Canada and asked him to watch his match. Bockwinkle told Jericho he worked too fast. Jericho remembered not listening to Bockwinkle, but wondered if he could’ve been more successful, faster if he had listened to Bockwinkle and not been such an arrogant prick. Wayne asked Jericho if he was calling him an arrogant prick. Jericho said, “If the necklace fits.” Wayne said it’s not about the necklace, it’s that he lost to Jericho. He said that should’ve never happened, but it’ll never happen again. Wayne said he’s a third-generation star and was bleeped out saying something. He said the only thing Jericho taught him is that he might need to change who he is to beat Jericho. Wayne challenged Jericho to a match at Grand Slam in France. Wayne said, “May the best man, or the man who knows more, win.” They shook hands, Jericho pulled him in close and told Wayne that he’s going to get the shit kicked out of him again. Jericho signed off with “See you in Paris, kid.” Jericho’s music palyed and he walked up the ramp as they went to commercial. [c]
-Renee was with Hyan and said that wasn’t the result she was hoping for. Hyan said Britt and Persephone took out her tag partner, and she heard Britt calling her a tag wrestler. So Hyan introduced her new tag partner: Thunder Rosa. Thunder Rosa said she knows where Britt will be, in Pittsburgh. Rosa told Britt she’s the best and worst thing that ever happened to her.
(2) SKYE BLUE (w/Julia Hart) vs. QUEEN AMINATA (w/Mina Shirakawa)
-Mercedes’ music played and she walked down to the ring with the world title on her shoulder. Mercedes joined the commentary desk as Skye Blue’s music played. Skye Blue made her entrance along with Julia Hart. Queen Aminata’s music played and she stepped out to the stage with Mina. The bell rang to start the match 51 minutes into the hour.
Aminata backed Blue into the corner and let her out. Aminata dodged a thrust kick and ended up sitting on the mat. Blue tapped Aminata on the head patronizingly. Blue dodged a headbutt from Aminata, and Aminata returned the part to the head. Blue and Aminata traded forearms and then traded running forearms.
Aminata hit Blue with a snap suplex followed by a snapmare takeover. Aminata pointed at Mercedes on the desk and delivered the Chocolate Kisses. Aminata got a running start for her Off With Her Head running kick, but Julia Hart pulled Blue to safety on the floor. Mina argued with Julia and Aminata, allowing Blue to ram Aminata into the steel stairs. Blue set Aminata up on the stairs and suplexed her off the stairs to the floor as they cut to commercial. [c]
They returned from commercial as Blue slammed Aminata to the mat by the hair. Aminata came back with a pair of running clotheslines and a German suplex. Aminata hit a running kick on Blue in the corner. Aminata climbed to the middle rope and drilled Blue with a double stomp. Aminata made the cover, but Blue grabbed the ropes immediately to break it up.
Blue came back with an inside cradle for a two-count. Blue hit a thrust kick and a running knee strike. Blue went for a swinging DDT, but Aminata blocked it and hit a neckbreaker. Aminata made the cover, but Blue kicked out at two.
Aminata climbed to the top rope, but Julia Hart got on the apron to distract her. Mina ran Julia off. Blue caught Aminata with a roll-up, and they countered it back and forth repeatedly, with each getting two. Blue drilled Aminata with a running knee and made the cover, but Aminata kicked out at two.
Blue went for Code Blue, but Aminata slipped out of it. Blue hit Aminata with a slap across the face, but Aminata fired right back with the Queen’s Crown headbutt. Blue collapsed against the bottom rope and Aminata delivered the Off With Her Head running kick. Aminata made the cover and got the win.
WINNER: Queen Aminata in 10:00
After the match, Julia attacked Aminata from behind. Mina entered the ring, and all four brawled until Thekla ran down to the ring to joined Julia and Blue. Thekla set up for a spear as Blue and Julia held Mina and Aminata, but Willow’s music played. Willow hit the ring and ran off the entire Triangle of Madness. The crowd chanted for Willow as Mercedes stood on the desk holding the Women’s World title over her head.
-Britt Baker was backstage with Persephone. They told each other they’re so good before telling Hyan and Thunder Rosa that they’re so dumb. Britt said Rosa can’t keep her name out of her mouth for five or six years. Persephone said she’s a fighting champion and challenged anyone to a match for the TBS title at All Out, anyone except Rosa or Hyan. [c]
(3) ACE AUSTIN vs. PAC
The lights went out and The Bang Bang Gang’s music played as Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Ace Austin all appeared. Juice walked to the ring with Ace with a clipboard and whistle, apparently calling the plays for the match. Pac’s music played and he appeared in a tunnel with the rest of the Death Riders. Pac slapped hands with his teammates before making his way through the crowd to the ring. The bell rang and the match started 12 minutes after the third hour of the evening.
Ace flipped out of a wristlock and took Pac to the mat with an arm wrench. Pac came back with a hip toss. Ace brought Pac to the mat with a back sweep, low roundhouse and a dropkick. Ace lifted Pac onto his shoulders and squatted him a few times before Pac raked his eyes to escape.
Pac hit the ropes, but ran right into a dropkick. Pac rolled to the outside. Ace dodged Pac repeatedly on the apron and hit a kick. Pac walked around the ringpost, but Ace leapt diagonally over the turnbuckles to hit Pac with a plancha on the outside.
Back in the ring, Ace lifted Pac up and performed ten squats punctuated with a Death Valley Driver as they went to commercial. [c]
