Darius Martin is reportedly injured again.
Martin returned from a February 2021 ACL tear on March 2 of this year, but Fightful is reporting that he suffered another leg injury and will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time. The report indicates that Martin’s absence will likely be a lengthy one.
Martin and his brother Dante, wrestle a the tag team, Top Flight, and have been active together since Darius returned. The team lost to The Young Bucks on AEW Rampage. The last time he was in the ring for AEW was at the AEW Dark tapings on April 15.
When Darius Martin was out of action with the ACL injury, Dante Martin stayed active in AEW as a singles act. He had notable matches against Powerhouse Hobbs, MJF, Lee Moriarty, and others. There is no word at this time regarding what specific next steps will be in place for Martin.
