Renee Paquette talks AEW debut

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Renee Paquette says that she has not had any conversations with AEW President and Ring of Honor owner, Tony Khan, about a potential return.

Wrestling Inc is reporting that Paquette addressed her involvement with wrestling during a media scrum during Starrcast 5 in Nashville and revealed that there simply hasn’t been much discussion around it.

“I’ve never had any actual conversations with Tony,” Paquette said at the Starrcast media scrums when asked about potentially becoming an announcer for AEW. “I’ve not had any conversations with anybody there about stepping in and doing that … There is one thing that I definitely learned and that’s that I don’t love calling matches … Maybe it’s conducting interviews, maybe it’s finding some other kind of shows or some other kind of thing there, but I don’t know, maybe.”

Paquette, formerly knowns as Renee Young in WWE, left the company when her contract expired, but has to picked up a wrestling job since then. She is the host of The Sessions podcast that regularly features pro wrestlers including her husband and current reigning Interim AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley.
