SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-Impact Wrestling has released Scarlett Bordeaux from her contract. The company announced her release on Twitter this morning. Bordeaux had recently requested her release, but it had not been granted until today. You can read Impacts statement on her release below:

Bordeaux’s boyfriend, Killer Kross, also recently asked for his release from Impact and talked about Bordeaux’s situation in an interview with the Wrestling Perspectives podcast. Kross said, “People don’t understand, she (Bordeaux) lives at home with her mom, still has a side job. She works a side job to support her wrestling. For where she’s at with things, it really shouldn’t be that way, in my opinion and I think that a lot of people would agree with me. She’s doing the absolute best that she can and I think where she’s at right now is so far beyond what she’s being compensated for. I think it would turn people’s stomachs if they knew the details about that.”

Radican’s Analysis: It’s a shame Bordeaux wasn’t making more money. Her character was a highlight of Impact week in and week out and she grew a lot in her role in the company stemming from her time in Ring of Honor. Bordeaux has also gotten over in AAA in Mexico, so I’m guessing she won’t struggle to get indie bookings and possibly land a much better deal in another company in the near future.

Killer Cross is extremely talented as well, but has not yet been granted his release by Impact.

    • AEW can’t sign every single person that gets released by every company. AEW should sign Tye Dillenger. AEW should sign Dean Ambrose. AEW should sign Scarlett Bordeaux. They can’t sign 400 wrestlers to contracts
