C.M. Punk vs. Powerhouse Hobbs: HIT Solid opening match. Punk looked alright, and he gave Hobbs quite a lot for someone who mainly wrestles on AEW’s shoulder programming. The only “ugly” part was a top-rope […]

This week we got a pure wrestling division show with a gauntlet match and the main event between Mike Bennett and Rhett Titus. It seems that they were using this show to ramp up the […]
Big E Opens the Show – HIT: After winning the WWE Championship after a successful MITB cash in last week, it made perfect sense to start off Raw with Big E. It was nice to […]
RODERICK STRONG vs. KUSHIDA – NXT CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Another “Big Money Match” according to Vic Joseph on commentary, but does anyone actually consider a Roddy Strong match a big money match? Roddy is a great […]
Lucha Brothers Vs. Butcher and Blade: MISS Another good opening match with an underwhelming build. I don’t expect much for television matches, but would it hurt to show some quick highlights of the challengers’ victories […]

Adam Cole vs. Frankie Kazarian – HIT Frankie Kazarian has become the gatekeeper in AEW. He faced Christian Cage in his debut then took another loss to Adam Cole. They had a good match establishing […]
Hits Walls Closing In It is really great TV to see the walls surrounding Roman Reigns begin to close in as various challengers and threats all arise and break out of the cycle of line-them-up-take-them-down […]

Hits – An overall “hit” for ROH and their pre-match promos during the introductions. Some may be better than others, but as a whole, this is a great feature of ROH wrestling and I heartily […]
NXT 2.0 Thanks, I hate it. Okay, I don’t hate everything. But I do hate the branding and the overhaul of the CWC. Everything just looks like it was taken straight out of the mid-90s […]

Andrade Vs. Pac: HIT I understand that they skipped entrances to allow more time for the match, but entrances a large part of a wrestler’s presentation. Just skipping to the superstars in the ring doesn’t […]
Malakai Black vs. Dustin Rhodes – HIT A very good match to open up Dynamite. Malakai Black’s entrance is a star presentation. It’s smart to remind people of him and his importance at the top […]
Hits Acknowledge Them There are a lot of newsworthy items in wrestling these days, but the fact that the Smackdown main event picture is electric right now cannot get lost in the shuffle. What an […]

Tag Team Turmoil Part 1 – MISS: I appreciate the way that WWE started off Raw with the soundbites from the tag teams who would be taking part of the Tag Team Turmoil match to […]
Hits Here Comes the Pain(T) What a fantastic final stretch to Smackdown. Finn Balor was clearly treated with a lot of intention from the proper, violent beat down by the Uso’s to plausible, believable near […]
Malakai Black vs. Lee Johnson: HIT Although I continue to feel nothing but apathy for the Nightmare Family, this served its purpose of continuing to get Malakai Black over. Malakai’s mannerisms are very compelling, and […]
FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz – HIT A very good match to kick off the show. These teams got the match they were hoping to have the first time around. This was well planned out […]
The AEW All Out PPV will take place on September 5, 2021 at the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It is the first PPV out of Jacksonville since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The biggest draw […]
Opening Segment – HIT: In general, I’m not a fan of these parade of challengers segments. They did something similar with the women on Smackdown last week. I did enjoy this as the mic work […]
Jurassic Express vs. Lucha Brothers: HIT While I don’t think this was either team’s best match, and certain spots did feel far too contrived or took too long to set up, this was still pretty […]
