Report – Why Mr. Anderson is gone from TNA

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

With so much happening over the course of an entire week of TV tapings in Bethlehem, Pa. earlier this year, an incident involving Mr. Anderson was kept private … until Anderson went to an ICW show in Europe this week gloating about no longer working for TNA.

Now, information has surfaced on why he no longer works for TNA. Anderson reportedly failed an on-the-spot drug test at the Bethlehem TV tapings in early January.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Anderson looked bad in the ring during a match against Eric Young taped on January 7 to air on the Jan. 19 Impact episode. Anderson was told to take a drug test and then sent home. The match was subsequently cut from the TV broadcast.

Anderson did not work the U.K. TV tapings at the end of January. Based on the tone of Anderson’s promo at the ICW show, it appears Anderson is upset over his departure.

Neither Anderson nor TNA are commenting on the story. After video of Anderson’s mini-TNA outburst was released on YouTube, Anderson promoted his independent booking information on his Twitter account.
