SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

NXT LIVE EVENT RESULTS
DECEMBER 2, 2016
CRYSTAL RIVER, FLA.
REPORT BY KYLE NIBLETT, PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT

Crowd was about 200. Most of them were silent throughout the evening. A lot of families.

NXT is testing out its old style of meet and greets. No Way Jose came out to a table alone and signed. NXT officials had his shirt available as well as an updated program for him to sign. This is a smart way to generate revenue at live events in the way that the ringside meet and greet could not. In addition, it adds that personal connection that you just had a positive fan experience with the person you financially invested in.

(1) Jack Gallagher pinned Noam Dar after his patented running dropkick in the corner. An awesome display of technical ability.

(2) Kenneth Crawford & Angelo Dawkins defeated the Bollywood Boyz after Crawford landed his standing shooting star press.

(3) Tian Bing pinned Jeet Rama after a standing sidekick.

(4) Rich Swann defeated Kona Reeves with his spinning heel kick finisher. Rich was by far the most popular star on the show up to this point.

Intermission

(5) Daria Berenato & Bianca Blair defeated Mandy Rose & Macey Estrella.

(6) Tommy End pinned Lince Dorado after a spinning knee. This went around 15 minutes and methodically built up to a nice ending. Good stuff.

(7) T.J. Perkins & Cedric Alexander beat SAnity (Big Damo & Alexander Wolfe w/ Eric Young, Nikki Cross) after TJP tapped out Wolfe. Long tag match. Great stuff including a spot where Damo went to powerbomb TJP on Wolfe’s knees but TJP reversed it into a tornado DDT Wolfe’s knees. Crowd was into this.

NXT returns to the venue March 3.
