Japan Notes – Major injury, full NJPW Power Struggle card, Sanada

– Rising New Japan star Kota Ibushi is out indefinitely with a “herniated cervical disc,” reports PuroresuSpirit.net.

The serious-sounding injury will put Ibushi out of action for the remainder of 2015 into early 2016, meaning he will miss the Tokyo Dome Show.

Ibushi’s New Japan contract is coming due, but NJPW president Naoki Sugabayashi announced that they will wait until Ibushi to recover to determine his future.

Ibushi also wrestles for the DDT promotion, where he missed the Openweight Title challenge in October and now has been stripped of DDT’s Tag Titles due to the injury.
