SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

One of the top international wrestling stars in pro wrestling, Zack Sabre, Jr., is leaving the NOAH promotion in Japan. Now, he turns his attention to the U.S. and his U.K. homeland in 2016.

Sabre wrestled a six-man tag match at NOAH’s “Winter Navigation 2015” show Monday night (via PuroresuSpirit.net), then said his good-byes to the crowd.

In an interview on NOAH’s website about his departure, Sabre noted that he plans to wrestle A.J. Styles soon and he wants to win the PWG Title in California.

Sabre said he plans to return to NOAH in the future because he wants to win the GHC Jr. Hvt. Title. Sabre framed his departure as needing to get more international experience so that he can “level-up” to contend for NOAH’s top titles in the future.

Sabre is expected to be a big part of EVOLVE shows in 2016 with tentative plans to move to the U.S.

First up in 2016 is Sabre returning to PWG for their January 2 New Year’s kick-off show.

On the other side of the U.S., Sabre teams with EVOLVE champion Timothy Thatcher in the EVOLVE Tag Title tournament running January 22-24 in Florida.
