Pop TV is getting a head-start on airing TNA programming.
The “Best of 2015” programming that was advertised at the end of this week’s Impact episode on Destination America will instead air on Pop TV next Tuesday. This is according to TNA’s website and Pop’s official programming guide.
Pop has set aside a two-hour block on Tuesday (December 22), which will be opposite a live WWE Smackdown on USA Network. The first Impact programming will follow a block of soap opera shows.
Part 2 of the “Best of” series will air on the final Tuesday of 2015 leading into the semi-live Impact debut on Tuesday, January 5.
Pop, which is owned by CBS and Lionsgate, is still trying to get clearance by major carriers. AT&T U-verse does not carry Pop, but will reportedly pick up all CBS-owned channels at some point in 2016.
TNA on Pop TV Schedule
– Tuesday, Dec. 22: Part 1 of “Best of TNA 2015” at 9:00 p.m. EST (two hours)
– Tuesday, Dec. 29: Part 2 of “Best of TNA 2015” at 9:00 p.m. EST (two hours)
– Tuesday, January 5: TNA Impact semi-live debut at 9:00 p.m. EST featuring the semi-finals and Finals of the TNA Title tournament (two hours).
