TNA hit the reset button for their Impact Wrestling debut on Pop TV following the conclusion of a three-month TNA Title tournament on Destination America.

– Ethan Carter III re-captured the TNA Title in the finals of the TNA Title tournament. ECIII beat finalist Matt Hardy to win back the title that he lost to Hardy at Bound for Glory in October.

In the semi-finals earlier in the show, Hardy beat Eric Young and ECIII beat Bobby Lashley.

– James Storm jumped back to TNA after flirting with WWE’s NXT brand.

Storm returned to Impact to re-join Bobby Roode in the Beer Money tag team. TNA announced Beer Money as one of the featured acts for a “One Night Only” PPV scheduled to air on Friday.

– Former ROH stars Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis debuted on Impact. Bennett is playing “The Miracle” coming to TNA to save the wrestling business.

– Kurt Angle set up his TNA Farewell Tour with matches to be taped this week in Bethlehem, Pa. to air on future Impact episodes. Included is a match against Drew Galloway on next week’s Impact.

– In the Knockouts division, the alliances are now Awesome Kong with The Dollhouse and Gail Kim with the Beautiful People, who are without the services of a pregnant Angelina Love.
