Hulk Hogan talked about wanting to wrestle again while on the way to court Wednesday morning in Florida for his latest Gawker lawsuit hearing. “I’ve lost weight, I’m jacked up, I’m ready to slam another giant,” Hogan boasted upon entering the court room.

A.J. Styles wrestles in the U.K. this weekend, including a dream match against Rey Mysterio. After that, Styles’s last remaining publicly-announced independent booking is February 5 for DSCW in Canton, Georgia.

– TNA and T.J. Perkins (who played Manik) have parted ways. PWTorch has learned that TNA decided not to renew Perkins’s contract.

– WWE’s Australian DVD distributor, Shock Records, has decided to end their distribution partnership. Shock announced that it will no longer distribute WWE home videos after March 31. (Report at WrestlingDVDNetwork.com)

Chris Jericho talked on a recent music podcast about still trying to get respect for his “Fozzy” band due to his association with wrestling. ”Because I have notoriety from another area, that works against Fozzy. People think it’s some kind of a novelty thing. Not as much any more, but you still get people who say, ‘Yeah I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never listened to them – it’s Jericho.'”
