SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

AWWNLive has released details on WWE wrestler/executive Triple H attending the EVOLVE 54 event in Orlando, Florida on Saturday before the Royal Rumble.

WWE talent William Regal, Jason Jordan, and Chad Gable were booked for the EVOLVE show representing NXT. Regal informed WWNLive on Saturday afternoon that Hunter would be attending, too.

Hunter arrived just before the 8:00 p.m. start time to meet with DGUSA booker Gabe Sapolsky and WWN CEO Sal Hamaoui.

According to WWNLive, Hunter “positioned himself right in the middle of the locker room and was approachable to all of the roster and staff. He even asked to meet a few particular wrestlers.” One such story is Hunter’s assistant pointed out who Ricochet is. Hunter replied that he knows who he is.

Hunter and Sapolsky then engaged “in a lengthy conversation,” according to WWNLive. This included the now-memorable picture of Hunter and Sapolsky peering out to the arena from behind the curtain.

In summary, WWNLive said “it ended up being an unprecedented night; we are in uncharted waters and there is no telling what will happen next.”

WWNLive returns to action in March in New York before traveling to Texas for WrestleMania Weekend shows in April.

Added to the “WWNLive Experience” in Dallas is a CZW show. CZW is replacing the “Viva La Lucha” show on the schedule. WWNLive explained why:

“WWN officials decided that due to CZW’s worldwide fanbase and established name brand, it is in the best interest of the WWNLive Experience to bump the Viva La Lucha show and add CZW to the Friday night, April 1, 8:00 p.m. timeslot.”
