SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin says he will be at WrestleMania 32 in his home state of Texas, but he’s not sure what role, if any, he will have during the WM32 event until he hears a Creative pitch.

“Will I be a part of it? I know I’ll be there,” Austin told Fox News. “I’m going to the Hall of Fame, maybe do a podcast there. But, as far as doing something in the ring in the building, haven’t had that conversation yet.”

Austin added, “If I were to do something, it certainly would not be wrestling. But, if I were to do something, the Creative would have to be good and it would have to make sense. So, that’s the million dollar question. I don’t know.”

As for whether WWE can set attendance records at AT&T Stadium, similar to musician George Strait selling out the building by himself, Austin said it will be difficult because of the injury situation.

“With so many injuries right now, and so many top guys out of the picture, it’s going to be tough to do,” Austin said. “But, I know Vince (McMahon) is looking at his chessboard trying to put pieces together and find out what he’s going to do to fill those seats.”
