TORCH TODAY – Monday, February 15, 2016

– After last week’s “special edition” of Raw focused on Daniel Bryan’s retirement, WWE turns back to Fast Lane hype. Except, Brock Lesnar is not advertised, so the focus will likely shift to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, with The Authority’s Triple H & Stephanie McMahon trying to drive a wedge. It’s a bit tired, so WWE has to find a way to make things interesting tonight with this final week of PPV hype before they really have to focus on the Road to WrestleMania. After we cover Raw live tonight, join us on the PWTorch Livecast post-game show at 11:30 p.m. EST to discuss the show.

– In his latest update on injury rehab, top WWE star John Cena talked about taking a risk to try to accelerate his recovery now that WWE is within two months of WrestleMania 32.

– There is a huge gathering of legends scheduled for the Martin County Fair in Florida on Monday night. However, Mick Foley announced Monday afternoon that he will be unable to attend due to “severe stomach problems.”

A.J. Styles merchandise that is non-WWE affiliated is available for a limited time this week. Pro Wrestling Tees announced that the “Styles Club” t-shirt and other A.J. Styles merchandise is available this week through Friday night only.

– Looking way ahead past WrestleMania to the middle of 2016, betting odds have been released for the Money in the Bank match. International oddsmakers have pegged Kevin Owens, A.J. Styles, and (currently injured) Seth Rollins as the top three potential winners. (Thanks to David)

– Ring of Honor has put tickets on-sale for all four ROH vs. New Japan shows this May in Chicago, Michigan, Toronto, and New York City. (Ticket Info)

Video Updates

– Injured WWE star Cesaro traveled to the Middle East to promote WWE returning to Dubai on April 14 & 15 following WrestleMania. Cesaro talked about his injury, other injuries affecting WrestleMania plans, and more topics with radio host Myles from 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai.

E! released a teaser for Tuesday’s “Total Divas” episode focusing on Brie Bella talking to her sister, Nikki Bella, about possibly retiring from wrestling due to the condition of her neck. The conversation was taped in 2015 when Nikki was on her Divas Title run before her neck surgery.

– PWTorch specialist Shawn Valentino is the subject of a new Bachelor-themed web series called “The Showstopper” trying to match up Valentino with one of 10 eligible women. The series premiered, of course, on Valentine’s Day. The trailer is below.
