WWE Raw TV Preview 4/18

WWE makes its semi-annual trip to the U.K. for a taped Raw episode two weeks removed from WrestleMania.

Raw in London is scheduled to feature the following items:

– An update on whether Shane McMahon will be running Raw for the third consecutive show. WWE is labeling Shane as the “showrunner” of the past two Raws. He is scheduled for Tuesday’s Smackdown TV taping in London, prompting the question of whether he will be in-charge of Monday’s Raw also in London.

Or, whether The Authority will re-assume control of Raw in the convoluted storyline involving Mr. McMahon on top. Triple H is scheduled to check back into the WWE arena setting at Wednesday’s house show in Newcastle, but will he show up early on Raw, along with Stephanie McMahon?

– The #1 contender Tag Tournament continues with semi-final matches to determine New Day’s next title challengers:

  • Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. The Dudleys
  • The Usos vs. The Vaudevillains

– In the WWE World Title picture, Roman Reigns was sidetracked by a strange deal with Bray Wyatt last week on Raw, but Bray was injured on the first night of the European Tour. Now, WWE shifts back to the Payback main event situation of Reigns vs. A.J. Styles.

– Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continue their feud, indirectly related to Intercontinental champion The Miz (now accompanied by Maryse).

– Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho, who is advertised for Raw, officially started a feud last week on Raw.

– Women’s champion Charlotte made it through Natalya last week, while WM32 opponents Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks were kept off the show.
