Report by PWTorch correspondent J.A. D’Amato

Three-fourths capacity crowd at the Ryan Center.

(1) Chris Girard (Biff Busick) beat Mojo Rawley. Huge pop for local favorite Gerard. Girard pinned Rawley in a hot four-minute opener.

(2) Bayley & Carmella beat Dana Brooke & Alexa Bliss. Bayley and Carmella had amazing teamwork that fired up the crowd. Bayley pinned Brooke with the Bayley to belly in about nine minutes of hot action.

(3) Manny Andrade beat Riddick Moss. Andrade got the crowd hyped with some unique high-flying moves and pinned Moss with a double knee in about 10 minutes.

(4) NXT Tag Team champions American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) beat The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder). After a false finish, American Alpha got the victory in an awesome 15-minute spectacle.

[Intermission was made more enjoyable with a couple of Prince tunes.]

(5) Austin Aries beat Tomasso Ciampa. Aries pinned Ciampa with his splash off the top rope in 10 minutes. Solid, non-stop, back and forth action with several two counts.

(6) NXT Women’s champion Asuka beat Peyton Royce. Asuka tapped out Royce with the Asuka lock in 10 minutes. Royce got more offense in than expected.

(7) Finn Balor & Shinsuke Nakamura beat new NXT Champion Samoa Joe & Elias Sampson. Ridiculously insane entrances for Nakamura and Balor. Joe teased taking on both, but tagged out to Samson repeatedly before any contact. Nakamura mocked Samson’s guitar playing. Joe finally tagged in and worked over Balor with kicks and strikes. Samson did not seem to belong, and Balor finally pinned Samson in 13 minutes. After the match, Balor thanked the crowd, who chanted “See you Monday!”

Great night of entertainment, as all of the matches were above-average to great and the crowd was awesome the whole night.
