WWE announces financial result of 2016 “Superstars for Hope” auction

WWE’s annual “Superstars for Hope” auction raised more than $300,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, WWE announced Tuesday.

The charity event surrounding WrestleMania 32 included contributions from John Cena, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and New York Yankees.

“BGCA is grateful to WWE and their fans for including us in the Superstars for Hope auction,” said Frank Sanchez, Vice President, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “The funds raised will support Boys & Girls Clubs in the Dallas area and provide resources to Clubs across the nation, to give kids the skills and tools they need to prevent bullying in their communities.”

WWE announced the annual “Superstars for Hope” online auction through CharityBuzz surrounding this year’s WrestleMania.

This year’s auction will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Auction highlights include meet-and-greets with WWE stars, a taping of Conan, Dallas Cowboys & Mavericks packages, concert tickets, and more. The auction runs through April 5. (Full Details)
