Super J Cup official announcement – New Japan, NOAH, ROH & more promotions part of big return

New Japan Pro Wrestling and NOAH announced Friday official details on the Super J Cup returning in 2016.

Ring of Honor will be represented in the tournament, along with several other promotions, including CMLL in Mexico.

Official entrants will be announced at a later time. There will be 16 wrestlers in the tournament.

The tournament kicks off July 20 in Tokyo. The final rounds will be held August 21 in Ariake, Japan.

    • CHAOS faction – 1 wrestler
  • NOAH – 3 wrestlers
    • Suzuki-gun – 2 wrestlers
  • ROH – 1 wrestler
  • CMLL – 1 wrestler
  • All Japan – 1 wrestler
  • Dragon Gate – 1 wrestler
  • Kaientai Dojo – 1 wrestler
  • Ryukyu Dragon – 1 wrestler
  • Mystery 16th entrant
