Former TNA star Bobby Roode unexpectedly made his WWE debut Saturday in the U.K.

Roode made a surprise appearance at Saturday’s NXT show at the Download Festival in Derby, U.K.

Roode wore his traditional Rick Rude/Ric Flair robe to the ring and carried himself like his TNA character.

Roode then defeated Angelo Dawkins in a singles match to officially kick off his WWE run.

At the “NXT Takeover: The End” special on Wednesday, Roode made his second non-wrestling appearance for WWE, this time appearing backstage in a bit with NXT GM William Regal.
