SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

TNA and Pop TV attempted to deliver a semi-live (marketed as live) episode of TNA Impact Tuesday night on Pop TV.

Instead, the airing turned into a technical malfunction with the feed cutting out, commercials airing on a loop, and Pop taking the blame for the programming error.

The episode was taped earlier in the night at Universal Studios in Orlando on a two-hour tape delay for Pop TV airing.

After an 18-minute opening delay, Impact started with Jeff Hardy in the ring. However, the feed cut out, then resumed with new TNA Hvt. champion Bobby Lashley in the ring.

The feed cut in and out several times before Impact cut to a commercial and looped Pop TV promo spots.

After an hour, TNA tweeted, “We understand your frustration. Pop TV ensures us that they are working to fix the technical issues. We will update you as we are updated.”

Pop was planning to air the full episode in its entirety later in the night.
