Video Package from “earlier today” – Sami Zayn announces that he will fight Chris Jericho later tonight. Jericho lost his blue scarf. … Seth Rollins and Jey Uso get into an argument backstage, setting up a match later tonight. Rollins told Jey that his family – what’s left of it – travels in packs, setting up an argument and match.

WWE World Hvt. champion Dean Ambrose comes out and says that he is the guest ring announcer for Seth vs. Jey.

(1) Seth Rollins beat Jey Uso. Ambrose interrupted the match throughout with joke announcements. Rollins won with the Pedigree. During the match, when Rollins got momentum, Ambrose said: “Check out the merch stands, buy an Ambrose shirt and maybe a Rollins ice cream Popsicle, but I’m warning you they taste like crap.” Then, while Rollins was on the middle rope: “Will the owners of a ’97 Ford pick-up truck move, you’re parked on the fire lane,” giving Uso time to get up. Ambrose wouldn’t announce Seth as the winner after the match, then eventually said, “Winner of this match, the human equivalent of a root canal.” He said he needed to get closer, got in the ring, showed off the WWE Title belt, and said he’ll be WWE champion after Battleground.

(2) Zack Ryder beat Sheamus. Ryder had a new rock remix of his entrance song. Sheamus owned the match. He had Ryder down, Ryder reversed, and sent Sheamus down, then hit a top-rope move for a pin 1-2-3.

Ryder was interviewed after the match, saying he wants to be U.S. champion. He trash-talked Rusev a bit, then challenged Rusev to a U.S. Title match. Rusev accepted for Raw.

Becky Lynch came out and was attacked by Natalya on the entrance ramp, taking her out. Natalya put Becky in the Sharpshooter. “Becky” chant as refs helped her away from ringside.

New Day-Wyatts video recap from Raw.

Enzo Amore & Big Cass came out next to explain why they helped John Cena on Raw. They were interrupted by The Club. But, first, Enzo talked about saving Cena not for a personal issue or issue with The Club, just sending a message that they’re going to stop Club from beating everyone up. Club vowed to beat up Enzo and Cass, then an argument broke out. Enzo finished with a burn and the crowd did the “SAWFT” chant.

(3) A.J. Styles beat Enzo Amore in a singles match. Enzo botched an over-the-top rope move, getting his foot caught in the ropes. Scary. Club got taken out by Cass after they threatened to interfere, but Styles hit Enzo with the Clash for the pin after crotching him on the top rope.

Off-air, they hyped a bonus main event for the live crowd of The Club vs. Enzo & Cass and a partner of their choosing.

Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens had a backstage segment. Owens had Jericho’s scarf, making him beyond mad. Owens got the super-expensive scarf dirty, and Jericho told him he’ll have to pay to get it cleaned. Owens pulled out some change instead.

IC champion The Miz came out wanting to know who threw potato salad at Maryse on Raw. Kalisto said he did it. Miz said Maryse is allergic to mayo and it could have been an international incident.

(4) IC champion The Miz (w/Maryse) beat Kalisto. Miz won with the Skullcrushing Finale.

Sasha Banks had an interview segment interrupted by Women’s champion Charlotte and Dana. It will be Sasha vs. Dana on Raw.

They aired the Darren Young/Bob Backlund “life coach” segment from Raw.

(5) Sami Zayn beat Chris Jericho via roll-up after some attempted interference from Kevin Owens, who was on commentary. For the finish, Zayn went for Helluva kick, Kevin got on ropes, Zayn hit Owens, Jericho tried for the Walls of Jericho, and Zayn reversed into a roll-up for win.

Post-match, Jericho attacked Zayn, then Owens attacked Zayn after Jericho left. Owens hit Zayn with a pop-up powerbomb. That ended the taping.

No Brock Lesnar Summerslam announcement to the live crowd during the taping.

Bonus Main Event: WWE champion Dean Ambrose & Enzo Amore & Big Cass beat The Club (A.J. Styles & Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) in a six-man tag match. Ambrose pinned Anderson with Dirty Deeds to send the crowd home happy. Prior to the finish, Enzo took a lot of bumps. An all-out brawl broke out, leaving Anderson alone in the ring to take Ambrose’s finisher for the 1-2-3.

End taping.
