PWTorch Report – Updated Details on Moose’s new TNA contract

By PWTorch Staff (Sean Radican & James Caldwell)

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Correction: PWTorch has learned that former ROH/NFL star Moose has signed a two-year deal (not a one-year deal) with TNA Wrestling.

Moose’s deal was executed at Tuesday’s TV taping, prompting TNA to follow through on plans to debut Moose on the next semi-live Impact special, which was Tuesday.

The deal calls for a minimum of 60 dates and maximum of 120 dates depending on whether TNA begins running house shows again. It’s an exclusive deal, so TNA will book Moose for indie shows to fill out his contracted dates.

Moose’s Ring of Honor contract expired in June, but he worked a final ROH date last Friday (July 8) in Baltimore. Moose then traveled to the U.K. for a Rev Pro show on Sunday (July 10) before returning to the U.S. to debut on Impact (July 12).

PWTorch also learned that Moose’s TNA deal is in the financial ballpark of the deal The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) signed earlier this year.
