WWE Smackdown rebounded by a slight margin, following the lead of Monday’s Raw in Week 4 of the brand split.

WWE Smackdown TV Ratings Tracking

August 16: Smackdown Live scored a 1.72 TV rating, slightly up from a 1.69 rating last week.

Week 2 of Smackdown against the Olympics also upticked in TV viewership.

Smackdown drew 2.471 million viewers, up less than a percent from last week’s live audience of 2.455 million viewers.

– DEMOGRAPHICS: Smackdown was essentially even with last week in adults 18-49 and males 18-49.

However, males 18-34 dipped from last week, the first sign of m18-34 viewership falling off after a strong first three weeks.

– Overall, the 1.72 rating is in-between where Smackdown was earlier this year taped on Thursday nights. The First Quarter averaged a 1.77 rating and the Second Quarter averaged a 1.61 rating.

Smackdown and Raw have been affected by Olympics the past two weeks, but there is another chance for interest to be created for post-Summerslam episodes.
