ROH Death Before Dishonor 2016 PPV News & Notes

– Jay Lethal’s year-plus ROH Title reign ended with a loss to Adam Cole in an epic 24-minute main event Friday night in Las Vegas. (Full Report)

– The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) retained the ROH Tag Titles against Tanahashi & Michael Elgin and L.I.J. (Naito & EVIL) in the semi-main event.

– Bobby Fish retained the ROH TV Title against Mark Briscoe.

Also on the show, Donovan Dijak became #1 contender to the ROH TV Title. However, Fish is scheduled to defend the TV Title against New Japan star Shibata at the ROH TV taping on Saturday night.

– NJPW’s NEVER Openweight champion Shibata made his ROH in-ring debut with a victory over Silas Young in the second match of the PPV.

– The PPV also featured New Japan’s IWGP World Hvt. champion Kazuchika Okada in singles victory over Dalton Castle.
