WWE Raw’s top singles champions, new Universal champion Finn Balor and new Women’s champion Charlotte, appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Monday morning from New York City.
Their brief interview standing outside in Times Square focused on Balor being the first-ever Universal champion and Charlotte representing the Women’s division as new champion.
Balor said he wrestled all over the world for 16 years before landing in WWE to be given the honor of first-ever Universal champ. Charlotte said she represents the hard work of the women’s roster after winning at Summerslam.
The brief segment during the second hour of GMA included footage from Summerslam of Balor celebrating his title win and Charlotte being booed after winning the Women’s Title from Sasha Banks.
Balor did not show any signs of injury from Summerslam. TMZ noted that Balor went out with his parents after Summerslam and did not appear to be affected by the match against Seth Rollins.
