Smackdown Update – first “free agent” transaction of brand split

Jack Swagger has been moved over from Raw to Smackdown as the first “free agent” roster transaction of the brand split era.

WWE set up a storyline Monday night on Raw where Swagger’s “Raw contract” was due.

Swagger showed up Tuesday night on Smackdown dressed in street clothes to announce that he’s signed with Smackdown.

WWE set up a likely first feud with Baron Corbin in a battle of heavyweight former college football players.
