WWE Clash of Champions PPV News & Notes 9/25

– Kevin Owens retained the Universal Title against Seth Rollins in the main event of the Raw brand’s first solo PPV event.

Owens used interference from Chris Jericho, a referee bump, Stephanie McMahon sending a new ref down to the ring, and a pop-up powerbomb to beat Rollins.

– Roman Reigns captured the U.S. Title from Rusev in the semi-main event. Reigns survived interference from Lana and The Accolade to pin Rusev to capture the title.

– In the other title matches, New Day retained the Raw Tag Titles over The Club, Charlotte retained the Raw Women’s Title over Sasha Banks and Bayley, and T.J. Perkins retained the Cruiserweight Title over Brian Kendrick.

– The Best-of-Seven Series between Cesaro and Sheamus was unresolved in Match #7. The match ended without a result when they knocked each other out on the floor and were unable to continue.
