Kobra Moon snuck up on Drago. Moon threatened Drago by saying if Drago doesn’t join her, he will face the consequences of Lord Pindar. The grubby looking fat guy walked in on the two eating a chicken wing. He said he will just use the ladies room then farted.

[JD’s Reax: Seriously. Why was that necessary? That’s WWE crap. It’s not funny unless you are a 5 year old.]

In ring: Santos said the next match would be a 5 on 5 contest with the winning team entering Aztec Warfare. First out was The Mack, Mariposa, Ivelisse, Marty Martinez and Jeremiah Crane (Sami Callihan). Second team was Cage, Dante Fox (AR Fox), Argenis, Texano and Killshot.

3 – MIL MUERTES (w/Catrina) vs. PRINCE PUMA – Grave Consequences.

Puma attacked Muertes from behind and leaped onto him. Muertes caught Puma off of a dive and slammed him. Muertes threw Puma into a bunch of chairs then through a door. He rammed his head into the bell then Puma fought back and beat Muertes with the bell. Puma grabbed some roses and threw them at Muertes. He dragged the coffin over to Mil. Mil knocked over Puma then power bombed him onto the top of the coffin. Mil grabbed a table from under the ring. He set it up in a corner in the ring then tossed Puma back into the ring. Mil beat Puma over the back with a chair then lodged it into the corner. Puma dodged an attack and Mil ran into the chair. Mil then charged back at Puma and speared him through the table. Mil took off the bottom turnbuckle. He dragged the coffin into the ring. Puma fought back against Muertes and set him on top of the coffin. Puma hit the 630 splash then opened the coffin. Puma dragged Mil into the coffin and beat his head with the lid. Puma wedged Mil in the coffin then slammed a chair onto the lid. Puma grabbed a couple tables from under the ring and set them up. Mil grabbed Puma and chokeslammed him onto the coffin lid. Mil opened the coffin and set Puma inside. Mil tried to close the lid, but Puma fought back. Puma countered a flatliner and kicked Mil. Puma kicked Mil on the apron then dove onto Mil, but Mil struck him with a right hand. Puma pushed Mil into the ring post then hit Mil with a chair. Puma set Mil on the table then climbed the turnbuckle. Mil climbed the turnbuckle and traded blows. Mil grabbed Puma’s throat and chokeslammed him through the tables. Mil walked to the back grabbed the same coffin that Mil put Konnan in. Mil hit a flatliner on the outside then set Puma in the coffin and shut the lid.

WINNER: Mil Muertes at 16:30.

Post-match: A few fans booed then gave a standing ovation chanting “That was awesome”. Several people in skull face paint walked out and brought Puma to the back.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I don’t think that was the reaction you would want out of the fans after seeing Puma lose. Shouldn‘t the fans be shocked Puma lost clean and his time in Lucha Underground could be over? Some fans booed some fans even chanted for Muertes. The feelings were all over the place. That said, it was a very good match and they did a nice job selling that Puma has more of an edge.

B and Sagrada had a nice pay off to a mid card storyline. It was exactly what it should have been and it had some tasteful comedy unlike the fart joke. The grubby looking guy who farts just needs to leave forever. It doesn’t fit the tone of the show at all.
