Crowd: full house. Westchester County Center holds 5,000 – saw no empty seats.
(1) The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods w/Big E) defeated The Club, Sheamus & Caesaro, and Enzo & Big Cass when Kofi pinned Club for the win to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. Strong opener. Non-stop action with moves all over the place by all four teams.
(2) Neville beat Jinder Mihal after a Red Arrow and a pin.
(3) Sin Cara & Darren Young defeated Primo & Epico when Sin Cara hit the Swanton Bomb. Decent tag match. Bob Backlund came in after the match to celebrate.
(4) Seth Rollins pinned Rusev (w/Lana) after a Pedigree. est match of the night. Lana wsas out first to gain heel heat, dissing White Plains and the U.S. Rusev and Rollins really moved fast throughout. In the end, Lana, who kept trying to interfere and distract the ref, was finally thrown out. As Rusev was distraught, Rollins hits the Pedigree.
(5) Sasha Banks & Bayley defeated Dana Brooke & Nia Jax ending when Banks caught Brooke in the Bank Statement for the submission, after the faces tossed Jax out of the ring. Jax is an impressive monster.
(6) Braun Strowman beat Sami Zayn with a power slam and pin, following 210 minutes of bouncing Zayn around the ring. Zayn had one comeback attempt off the top ropes, but flew into Strowman’s waiting arms. Good for what it was.
(7) Roman Reigns pinned Kevin Owens after a spear to retain the U.S. Title. Owens came out first and gas the crowd the “good news” that not only was it a “champion vs. champion” match, but also, per Stephanie McMahon, the U.S. Title was up and his wasn’t. That gave away the ending. Pretty good match; some restholds along the way. Owens missed a power bomb, then got hit by the spear.
