ANNOUNCED BY NXT…

  • William Regal updates the WWE Universe about the vacant NXT Women’s Title
  • Adam Cole (w/the Undisputed) versus Eric Young (w/SANITY)

“A MANIAC AGAINST A SOCIOPATH”

After weeks of sneak attacks and brutal beatings the faction known as The Undisputed finally got their comeuppance. Strange enough, it occurred when NXT Champion Drew McIntyre found an unlikely ally in Eric Young and the rest of SANITY. Together they taught Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly what happens if you continue to take the cowardice route. Drew will need to re-center his focus as he prepares to defend his championship for the first time against the Messiah of the backbreaker Roderick Strong next week. As for Eric Young, he keeps his aim directly on Adam Cole. The two will clash tonight in Cole’s first official WWE match. (OH YEAH BAY BAY!)

“THE QUEEN HAS DEPARTED HER THRONE; WHO WILL TAKE HER CROWN”

Since Asuka left to the main roster General Manager William Regal has been speaking with the higher-ups in order to determine what is to happen with vacant NXT Women’s championship. It would make the absolute most sense to crown the new champion at the next Takeover even in Houston, but who will be competing for this prestigious title? We’ve already seen the likes of Lacey Evans, Bianca Belair, and Sonya Deville make their case. Sonya even went as far too say that if Asuka faced her there would be no undefeated streak. (KEEP DREAMING.)

Ember Moon is certainly looking to take this opportunity to take the divisions top prize now that her biggest threat is preparing to debut on Raw. Don’t forget about Ruby Riot or Nikki Cross either, who have recently partnered up to take down the dynamic duo of Billie Kaye and Peyton Royce. (Wouldn’t be surprised if that happened again to be honest.) Than of course, there is the Mae Young Young Classic Winner Kairi Sane, who has certainly proven that she can fight, and she can overcome the odds. For the first time since the Horsewomen the NXT Women’s scene is starting to look overly competitive. As for tonight, I have faith that Regal will give us as much information as he can.

THERE’S A MONSTER IN ALL OF US”

-Lars Sullivan has emerged out of nowhere as a real threat to everyone in NXT. He not only defeated the likes of No Way Jose with utter domination, but also won a three-on-one handicap match with ease! Jose is ready to go another round with this monster. Let us pray for his soul.

-Speaking of monsters, what happened to Paul Ellering and his boys? The Authors of Pain have been absent from our screens since SANITY shocked them at Takeover Brooklyn III, but something tells me they’ll be making a return since they haven’t debuted yet on T.V.

-Johnny Gargano is now on a nice little win streak, albeit against Riddick Moss and Tino but hey a wins a win. What’s next for Johnny Wrestling?

-Aleister Black addressed the NXT Universe last week but was interrupted by the Velveteen Dream. Things got REAL intense, and it seems that the only way to cut said tension is by squaring off in the ring. This looks like a feud that won’t culminate until Houston so expect some shenanigans between now and then.

-Will we see anymore of Pete Dunne or Mustache Mountain? What about Andrade Cien Almas and his valet Zolita Vega? WHERE IS EVERYONE?!

The road to Takeover Houston has begun. You joining?
