SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

WWE LIVE EVENT – RAW BRAND
OCTOBER 14, 2017
REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN
REPORT BY BRANDON CAIN, PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT

Attendance: Pretty well packed, 80-85 percent full

(1) Kalisto beat Enzo Amore to retain the Cruiserweight Championship. Enzo worked his hardest to get heat by trashing the city, stated that he had “gotten rid of Big Cass and Neville,” but still got a lot of big pops. Kalisto won with a Salida del Sol.

(2) Goldust & Darren Young beat Curtis Axel & Curt Hawkins. Young sold most the match, Golddust picked up the win on a hot tag.

(3) Elias beat R-Truth. Elias covered “Wonder Wall” by Oasis in which he insulted Regina and R-Truth. Elias won with a Drift Away

(4) Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose beat The Bar (Shamus & Cesaro) and Rhino & Heath Slater. Rollins and Dean were ridiculously over, specially Seth with the female portion of the crowd. Seth and Dean retained with a flurry of finishers on Cesaro.

(5) Sasha Banks & Dana Brooke beat Alexa Bliss & Alicia Fox. Emma was special guest ref. Emma’s favouritism for the heels was quite funny. The crowd was most invested when Sasha and Alexa squared up. Sasha and Dana won via a Bank Statement on Fox

(6) Miz beat Jason Jordan to retain the Intercontinental Title. Fifty percent of the match was a debate over two signs “Miz sucks” vs “Miz is AWESOME” with Miz and Jason ripping up each respectively. Miz won via shenanigans and a Skull Crushing Finale

(7) Roman Reigns beat Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing Match. The crowd was super pro-Roman, and Braun received a “special attraction” sort of reaction. Roman went over with a spear through a table for the ten count.

QUICK TIPS FOR SENDING RESULTS

If you attend an arena event in future, either house shows or TV tapings, we encourage you to send us a report for publication. You can direct your reports to: pwtorch@pwtorch.com.

We accept reports in any format, but if it’s not much trouble, please format your report like you see above, with the matches numbered like this (1) , (2) , (3) , with the opening line of each match paragraph stating who beat whom (don’t just say Wrestler A vs. Wrestler beat with the result listed later; instead, state up front who won so those readers who don’t have time to read the entire report (i. e. their boss walks past their cubicle all the time looking beat their shoulder) can at least quickly assess the results.

Also, please list tag teams using the “&” symbol as opposed to stating “and. ” Reserve use of ” and” when listing results in a three-way or four-way match where there are no teams (i. e. ” Wrestler A beat Wrestler B and Wrestler C in a three-way match” ) so it is easy to differentiate a handicap match from a three-way match.
