NEWS ITEMS: WrestleMania tickets on-sale date and price range, WM34 weekend events made official, Impact viewership

-WWE announced today that WrestleMania 34 tickets will go on sale Nov. 17 starting at 11 a.m. ET. The event takes place in New Orleans, La. at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Ticket prices range from $35 – $1,000. There will also be a limited number of “Gold Circle” VIP Packages available for $2,000. The Gold Circle packages include seating in the first nine rows ringside, access to a Gold Circle VIP Stadium Entrance, and a commemorative WrestleMania 34 take-home folding chair.

-WWE also announced WrestleMania Week events including WrestleMania Axxess, a four-day fan festival at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and four live events at Smoothie King Center including the Hall of Fame, NXT Takeover, Raw, and Smackdown on Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. WWE will also be hosting charity activities including “Be A Star,” hospital visits, and Make-A-Wish events. Details on official travel packages can be found at www.wrestlemaniatravel.com.


-Impact Wrestling last week on Pop TV drew 279,000 viewers last Thursday, Oct. 12 in live and same night DVR viewers. That is just below the year-ago viewership total of 284,000. The 279,000 is the highest since Aug. 24 and above the September average of 252,000. The ten-week rolling average headed into this week was 270,000. Through two weeks of October 2017, the average viewership is 265,000 below last year’s October 2016 average through two weeks of 295,000.
