NEWS ITEMS: Update on Cesaro’s front teeth, Shawn Michaels to special ref NXT Title match, Neville walkout details

-WWE announced today that Shawn Michaels will be the special referee Nov. 17 in San Antonio, Tex. for the main event between Drew McIntyre and Adam Cole for the NXT Title. This event takes place the night before NXT Takeover in Houston, Tex., which airs live on WWE Network.

-Cesaro updated the status of his front teeth on the latest UpUpDownDown video. He says the teeth have been pulled back down, he’s now wearing braces, and they’re just waiting to see if the teeth live or die. Watch the video HERE. [Thanks to PWTorch reader Mike]


-Sports Illustrated reports that Neville’s discontent with WWE goes back to early in the year, but in particular when his Cruiserweight Title match was moved from the main card to the Kickoff Show at WrestleMania. Excerpt: “In addition to costing one of their most valuable talents arguably his biggest check of the year, Neville was infuriated that his company—for which he would wrestle hurt, tired, and with minimal complaint—would disregard his service and value.” Since Austin Aries left WWE, SI reports he will make more money than Neville will in WWE in the same pan of time, working fewer dates, and having more control over his schedule. the key now is when Neville will be allowed to take indy dates, since WWE could freeze him out by holding rights to his wrestling dates until his contract expires.
