SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-WWE announced this week that the Hardy Boyz will appear at WizardWorld Comic Con on Nov. 18 in Austin, Tex. from 3-6 p.m. For more on the 2017 Wizard World Austin, visit http://wizd.me/AustinPR. The 2017-18 Wizard World convention schedule is available at: http://www.wizardworld.com/comiccon.

-Jeff Jarrett, whom Anthem/Impact Wrestling disassociated with earlier this week after a falling out last weekend, has entered a rehab facility, according to a ProWrestllingSheet.com report HERE. Jarrett worked an event last Friday for Impact, but appeared to be impaired. He then no-shwoed the next appearance the next night. There have been other reports of Jarrett being impaired when working as a wrestler or executive in recent months. Sean Waltman commented on the Jarrett situation on his podcast, which we reported earlier HERE.

-In a “Dancing with the Stars” update, Nikki Bella and her professional dance partner Artem Chigvinstev earned 26 out of 40 points on Monday, good enough to survive another week.

-Kevin Owens talked on the E&C Pod of Awesomeness about how surreal it was to work that angle with Vince McMahon on Smackdown last month. “I knew something was going to happen with Vince for a couple days beforehand. I wasn’t sure what it was exactly until we ironed out everything that day. When it happened, when I actually went through with it, it was just so surreal. That’s the thing about me, and I’ve said this in interviews and I’ve told a lot of people – I never stopped being a fan of WWE. I’ve been a huge fan since I was eleven years old and that never stopped.” He said he has never lost that sense that he’s a fan. “Then the same thing happened when I showed up on Raw to do the thing with Cena. I remember after it happened that night, I went back to my hotel and I walked into the elevator. The walls were mirrors and I just walked up to the wall and as my elevator is going down, I was just staring at myself in the mirror thinking ‘I can’t believe this is actually happening.’” Read a lot more of what Owens said at our sister site, www.PWPodcasts.com HERE, which also includes a link to listen to the interview.
