Impact Viewership: Big rebound after last week’s massive dropoff up against Tribute to the Troops (w/Keller’s Analysis)

By Wade Keller, PWTorch editor

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-Last night’s “Best of Impact” episode of Impact Wrestling on Pop TV drew 269,000 live and same-night-DVR viewership. That is a big rebound from last week’s viewership of 161,000, which was due to it going up against WWE’s Tribute to the Troops special on USA Network.

The average viewership in December last year through three weeks was 280,000, so they’re not too far off of that with this week’s viewership.

Keller’s Analysis: The ten-weekly rolling average before last week was 284,000, so they’re still behind that pace, but for a “Best of” show which has minimal production expenses, it’s encouraging.
