-The arena was pretty packed.  Only the upper level on the hard camera side was tarped off.  The rest of the arena seemed almost full.

PRE-SHOW DARK MATCH

(1) Breezango & Tye Dillinger beat Mojo Rawley & Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable. The finish was the same as the Fastlane pre-show, with Tye pinning Rawley after a Tye Breaker.

SMACKDOWN & 205 LIVE NOTES

-The crowd seemed pretty hot for A.J. Styles and Nakamura.  I would say A.J. had the slightly better pop.  However, the crowd seemed to be split down the middle between Rusev Day and A.J.

-In the backstage segment between A.J. and Nakamura, the sound was too quiet for the live audience.  I have no idea what was said,

-During the commercial break before the Bludgeon Brothers vs. Big E & Jimmy Uso match, the Bludgeon Brothers teased walking away from the match, but Big E and Jimmy got on the mic and taunted them, saying they were scared.

-Asuka got quite a pop from the crowd.

-Randy Orton’s RKO on Jinder Mahal got arguably the biggest pop of the night.

-No real heat for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn until the beat down on Shane McMahon.

-During Mixed Match Challenge, Rusev and Lana actually seemed to be booed quite heavily.

-The jobber who faced Jack Gallagher on 205 Live was a local wrestler.

-The match of the night in Roderick Strong vs Cedric Alexander

FINAL DARK MATCH

(1) Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler in the main event of the night. Ziggler was in full heel mode.  One of the best spots involved Nakamura doing his “Come On!” taunt to Corbin, only for Corbin to wave him off and lean against the ropes.  Nakamura came closer and tried a couple of times, only to be greeted by the same response.  In the end, Nakamura just grabbed Corbin’s hand and cracked his fingers, Marty Scurll style. The finish came when Orton gave Ziggler an eye poke into an RKO while he was taunting Nakamura, then Nakamura gave Corbin a Kinshasa for the pin.
