SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Dana White says Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar are both hopeful of fighting each other, which has led to a flurry of articles in the MMA world speculating on it along with betting odds.

Regarding Jones returning to UFC soon, White said Lesnar is among the top prospects for a super fight with Jones. “Obviously, there’s a lot of options,” he said. “Jon Jones is very interested in Brock Lesnar and Brock Lesnar is very interested in Jon Jones. They both want it. That’s a fun fight.”

The early betting odds, via Bovada.lv, favor Jones. A $350 bet on Jones would yield $100, while a $100 bet on Lesnar would yield $260.

“Honestly don’t think I’m ever going to officially move to heavyweight,” Jones wrote on his Twitter account. “I make 205 way too easily. Heavyweights take way too much damage [but] I will start picking off super fights.”

Lesnar greatly outsizes Jones, but Jones says that doesn’t strike fear in him. “I don’t underestimate Brock Lesnar, dude’s been whooping ass his whole life,” he said. “He’s just facing a different animal this time, that’s all. My brother wrestled at 275 lbs. throughout high school, I’ve been dealing with bigger guys my whole life.”

Lesnar would need to reenter the USADA testing pool for six months before he’d be eligible to fight.
