WWE Raw international tour results
July 5, 2013
Tokyo, Japan
Report by Brian Jones, PWTorch correspondent

(1) Yoshi Tatsu pinned Wade Barrett in front of his hometown crowd.

(2) Zack Ryder & Great Khali beat Primo & Epico. Ryder pinned Primo (or Epico)… does WWE do anything to differentiate them?

(3) Natalya beat Aksana via submission with the Sharpshooter.

(4) Sheamus pinned Antonio Cesaro after the Brogue Kick. Cesaro delivered an excellent performance and won over the crowd, while Sheamus performs the same six moves over and over.

(5) Ryback pinned The Miz. Nothing else noteworthy about this match.

(6) Chris Jericho beat IC champion Curtis Axel via DQ; Axel retained the Intercontinental Title. Axel was DQ’d after hitting Jericho with the title belt. Jericho sure can still work after all these years.

(7) WWE champion John Cena & Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan & Kane) beat The Shield in a six-man tag match. Cena pinned Rollins for the win. The main event stole the show – job well done by all performers. For the first time, I actually think The Shield has a chance to succeed if WWE can advance their gimmick.
