If you attend a live event, please send results in the format of the following report to pwtorch@pwtorch.com. Thanks!

Show was from 7:30-10:30 CST

(1) Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin. Regular Finn, no Demon.  Corbin was dressed in full “Constable Corbin” heel mode and taunting the crowd.  This match lasted a while with Corbin getting in just about all of the offense. Finn took a beating and got a rollup victory out of nowhere.  Corbin restarted the match with his constable powers, also making it no DQ.  He gets the jump on a still-ailing Finn, brings in a chair, and hits Finn leading to an End of Days and pin.  He called us hillbillies.  This was a good match, but I missed seeing the Coup de Gras.  I think I saw this match on Raw last week.

(2) Cedric Alexander defeated Buddy Murphy to retain the Cruiserweight Title. This match was below the caliber I expect from these guys. Cedric hit a Lumbar Check for the win.

(3) Chad Gable & Bobby Roode defeated Jinder Mahal & Mojo Rawley. This match was a lot of fun, to my surprise.  Mojo came out and taunted the audience.  He has “go away heat” for sure. Sunil Singh introduced Jinder.  Really great entrance and imposing guy.  Jinder got on the mic and told Mojo that he needs to be less hype and be more like him.  Then Jinder made Mojo sit in the ring and chant his matra as they meditated.  Mojo was agitated and it was hilarious.  Gable took a beating the whole match and finally hot-tagged Roode.  Roode hit the Glorious DDT for the victory.  The crowd was really in to Gable.

(4) Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler defeated Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt and The B-Team to retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles. Lots of B-Team love. The crowd was into Curtis Axel, who was really hamming it up.  Lots of “B-Team” chants and “Delete” chants.  Dolph and Drew hit the Zig Zag/Claymore finisher for the win.

Intermission for 15 minutes at least

(5) Kevin Owens defeated Zack Ryder. KO was great on the mic before the match.  He told the crowd that his friend Sami Zayn had been in Birmingham for surgeries and that it was the worst town he’d ever been in. He ripped on us a few more times.  The match was over pretty quickly.  Pop-up power bomb, 1-2-3.

(6) Ember Moon & Natalya & Sasha & Bailey defeated Alexa Bliss & Alicia Fox & Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan. Alexa Bliss acted disinterested in performing. Alicia Fox was talking trash to the crowd.  Ember Moon had the best pops.  Bailey took a beating for while.  Bliss got in the ring literally for one punch and tagged out and that was her night.  Ember Moon hit an Eclipse for the win.

(7) Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman for Universal Title. The crowd went bananas for Roman.  Braun had a lot of heat.  Good back and forth.  Braun was tempted to crush Roman’s skull between the steel steps, but the ref threatened to DQ him.  Shortly after that Roman hits multiple Superman Punches.  Roman lined up for a spear when Drew and Dolph ran into the ring causing DQ.  They took a beating for a while; then The Shield music hit.  Seth and Dean ran out.  The Shield stood tall.  Strowman stumbled to the back.  They brought Dolph and a table in to the ring and triple powerbombed Dolph through the table.  The table didn’t break!  The crowd chanted “One more time!” over and over.  Electric crowd.  Drew crawled into the ring to sacrifice himself.  Another table was brought in.  Drew’s back disintegrated the table!

FINAL THOUGHTS: My wife and I really enjoyed this show.  Maybe 3,000 in attendance if I’m being generous.
