Fenix turned into something evil. Santos asked if there was anything she could do, but AeroStar told her he can’t be saved because he has seen the end of everything.

-Title Card

Announcers: Striker welcomed the audience. He recapped Marty Martinez’s title win a couple weeks ago. Vampiro interrupted Striker and told him they had a ton of action to get to tonight.

In ring: Santos introduced the team of XO Lishus, Ivelisse and Joey Ryan followed by The Rabbit Tribe.

The White Rabbit stood toe to toe with Ivelisse allowing Ryan and XO to get distracted and attacked from behind by The Rabbit Tribe. Ivelisse began the match with London and got the better of him before El Bunny and XO tagged in. El Bunny showed off some athleticism against XO. London tagged in and continued to inflict damage on XO. Ivelisse made the hot tag in and hit a double German suplex on El Bunny and London. Ryan tagged in and to help double team London. XO came in the ring for the butt bouncing spot with London. El Bunny helped London clear the ring then they both dov onto XO and IVelisse outside the ring. Ryan and The White Rabbit were left in the ring. The White Rabbit slammed Ryan then pulled a white glove out of his trunks and cinched on a mandible claw for the win.

WINNER: The Rabbit Tribe at 5:21.

Post match: The White Rabbit held onto the mandible claw past the bell then lifted up his glow to reveal blood on it.

Announcers: Striker hyped Ultima Lucha Cuatro coming in 4 weeks. He said it would span 2 weeks and Antonio Cueto promises this event to be bigger and more violent than ever. Striker ran down the matches signed thus far:

  • The Mack vs. Mil Muertes – Death Match
  • El Dragon Azteca, Jr. vs. Fenix – 2 out of 3 Falls
  • Pentagon Dark vs. Marty “ The Moth” Martinez – Lucha Underground Championship

In ring: Santos introduced Killshot followed by Son of Havoc.

Killshot attacked Havoc early and went after his mask. Havoc hit a drop kick then attempted a springboard attack to the outside before getting caught by Killshot on the ring apron. Killshot rammed Havoc into the steel barricade then rolled him back into the ring. Killshot stomped on Havoc’s hand and began to unlace Havoc’s mask. Killshot fell to the outside then Havoc hit a dive through the ropes. Havoc tossed Killshot back into the ring and hit a double stomp to the back. Killshot tried to fight back but,  Havoc hit a neck breaker for a near fall. Killshot caught Havoc off a top rope attack and hit a knee to the back followed by a double stomp. Killshot countered an attack and an armbar. Havoc was able to roll through and catch Killshot with a pin.

WINNER: Son of Havoc at 6:35.

Post match: Killshot grabbed his dog tags and wrapped them around his fist. He hit Havoc multiple times before ripping off Havoc mask.

Antonio came out to ringside. He told Killshot that mask means a lot to Havoc and he’s certain Killshot’s mask means a lot to him. Therefore they will have a mask vs. mask match at Ultima Lucha Cuatro.

In ring: Santos introduced Marty Martinez to the ring. Marty was accompanied by the “mysterious woman” (Chelsea Green)  who helped him win the LU Championship.

Marty touted about being the new Lucha Underground Champion. Fans chanted “Cero Miedo” while Marty tried to tell his story. He said that years ago he was embarrassed by Sexy Star so he had to call in Reclusa to get rid of her. The woman pulled out Sexy Star’s mask from Marty’s trunks. Marty revealed that the woman with him is Reclusa Queen of the Arachnids and she was the one who terrorized Sexy Star for a year. He said that he commanded Reclusa to beat down Star outside her home and the only thing left was her stupid mask. Marty said that Pentagon Dark was the only one who embarrassed him more because Pentagon broke his arm. Marty teased that the other person who embarrassed him was Melissa Santos, but it was actually Mariposa. Despite that, Marty offered her a title match tonight because of the good things she had done for him. Mariposa made her way to the ring.

3 – Lucha Underground Champion MARTY “THE MOTH” MARTINEZ (w/Reclusa) vs. MARIPOSA – No Disqualification match for the Lucha Underground Championship

Mariposa headbutted Marty then Marty kicked her and hit an onslaught of strikes. Striker announced that Marty requested this match be no disqualification and Antonio Cueto agreed. Marty tossed her into a row of seating outside the ring. Marty rammed her into the announce table where she started to bleed. Marty tossed her limp body into the corner turnbuckle. Mariposa rolled to the outside and regained control momentarily before Marty caught her with a sit down powerbomb. Reclusa handed Marty a chair. Mariposa kicked Marty with the chair then threw multiple chairs at him. Back in the ring, Mariposa tripped Marty onto a chair then hit a drop kick from the top rope. Mariposa picked up Marty and hit samoan drop onto a chair. Reclusa interfered and kicked Mariposa. Marty was able to catch Mariposa and hit a package piledriver for the win.

WINNER: Marty Martinez at 9:00 to retain the Lucha Underground Championship.

Post match: Marty squatted down to Mariposa and held her from behind. He said it was her that showed him the focus to be able to beat her tonight and the focus to be Lucha Underground Champion. Marty challenged Pentagon to a Cero Miedo match which he will dedicate to Mariposa. Marty grabbed Mariposa’s arm and said he dedicates this to Pentagon. Marty proceeded to break Mariposa’s arm. Pentagon ran out to the ring with a chair. Marty fled the area before Pentagon could get his hands on him. Pentagon asked Marty if he was really challenging him to a Cero Miedo match. Pentagon said he accepts the match because he promises at Ultima Lucha to break all of Marty’s bones then closed out with his signature Cero Miedo.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I’m happy to see they are scaling back Ultima Lucha to just 2 weeks. When it was 4 weeks long some of the matches felt somewhat meaningless and just thrown together which really brought down the prestige of the event. Again, I feel that they have built to this year’s Ultima Lucha nicely with some storylines that have been building over the course of the season. The crowd hates Marty and absolutely loves Pentagon which will make for a very fun atmosphere at Ultima Lucha.
