Raw Rating: Viewership up as Raw maintains status as top non-NFL and non-MLB Playoff program on cable among key adult demo

WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network drew a 1.70 rating last night among live and same-night-DVR viewers, according to our TV industry source with access to Nielsen Company ratings.

The three hours of Raw finished in positions no. 5, 6, and 8 in the top cable shows in the key 18-49 adult demographic on Monday night according to TV By The Numbers. The 11.881 million viewers for Monday Night Football topped the cable charts, well below WWE’s 2.490 million for its first hour. It dropped from there to 2.482 million for the second hour and 2.216 million for the third hour.

One year ago Raw drew a 1.93 rating and two years ago Raw drew a 2.17 rating.

The other top ranked cable shows were ESPN’s Monday Night Kickoff and the National League Championship Series pro baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and L.A. Dodgers on Fox Sports 1. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood on VH1 was wedged between the first two hours of Raw and the third hour of Raw.
