WWE website updates Crown Jewel page with location and list of talent – what’s different and what hasn’t changed? Are John Cena and Daniel Bryan listed?

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

WWE.com has finally updated its Crown Jewel event page and it has removed Roman Reigns. In fact, where there had been a giant graphic advertising Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman in a Universal Title match there is now just a basic Crown Jewel logo. Two wrestlers reportedly resisting participating on the event if it took place in Saudi Arabia – John Cena and Daniel Bryan – are listed on the event page.

No matches are listed, though. Just a handful of wrestlers: Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Kane, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, A.J. Styles, and John Cena. On the Evolution page, by contrast, it shows Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella and touts the WWE Raw Women’s Title match.

The location is listed as King Said University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For all of this week and most of last week, the location was not listed. WWE announced yesterday during their investor’s conference call that they were going forward with Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

  1. I got a few words for Cena and Bryan. You two are nobody great and you both need to cut this prptest crap off and get your asses over there and be part of that show with everyone else. Cena can get away with it better then Bryan can. Bryan is risking alot by not going. He could be punished and turned into a jobber and buried for months or he could be suspended or even fired. They are both complete assholes if they dont go and I will lose all respect for them.

    • Why would you lose respect for them? This event should not even be happening in the first place. A journalist was killed by the Saudi government and they are just doing the event like nothing happened. Move along here nothing to see here folks.

As long as Vince gets his money even if it is dirty, everything is good. Typical. If Hitler were still alive and wanted to have a show in Nazi Germany there is no doubt Vince would do it if the price were right.

Good for John Cena and Daniel Bryan. I am not a fan of John Cena but my respect just increased if he follows through on not going to that cesspool where 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 originated. But of course nobody remembers that.

Besides why should Stamford, CT have any credibility when they continually push women’s wrestling as equal yet do a business with a country that makes women dress in burkas and would not even let them drive until a few months ago? There is only one word for that. HYPOCRISY.
