The final date in the opening tour for NXT in 2019 came to an end in Durham, NC, at the Durham Armory. I arrive about 30 minutes before doors opened and there was already a line of probably 200 people waiting to get in. Also, this event quickly sold out in advance and I paid $85 for my third-row seat.
(1) Matt Riddle defeated Adam Cole.
(2) Xia Li & Kairi Sane defeated Lacey Evans & Aliyah.
(3) Keith Lee defeated Dominik Dijakovic.
(4) Brennan Williams defeated Kona Reeves
(5) EC3 & War Raiders defeated Undisputed Era.
Intermission: Unfortunately, I had to leave during intermission, but thanks to Matthew Acosta (@MatthewAcosta) for sending in the remaining matches!
(6) Ricochet defeated Shane Thorne to retain the North American Title.
(7) Bianca Belair defeated Rhea Ripley in a non-title match.
(8) Velveteen Dream & Aleister Black defeated Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa.
