“Undisputable Evidence.” This week, Harley R. Pageot and Rich Fann answer listener mail on where The Undisputed Era are heading from here both short-term and long-term, Kassius Ohno quitting to go to AEW (lol), War Raiders and Shayna Baszler fighting everyone in their divisions, great promos from Keith Lee and Street Profits, and why former NXT call-ups returning to NXT full-time might not be feasible.

•Thoughts and Comments

I fully meant to do the whole live report thing when NXT rolled into my hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts, but I got too immersed in the live atmosphere and decided to sit back and just enjoy the show. I did, however, have some thoughts on the evening…

  • Dominick Dijakovic got a huge babyface reaction because he was born about forty-five minutes down the road. With Dijakovic, Matt Riddle, and Jaxson Ryker…NXT has some really talented and very different type of big men.
  • Chant of the night: “Fat guy in a littttttle shirt” Directed at Kassius Ohno, who was looking very Chris Farley-esque in his ring attire.
  • Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke have excellent ring presence, and I’m more confident than ever they will make a very formidable heel women’s faction with Rousey and Baszler on the main roster.
  • Kairi Sane was far and away the most over female wrestler on a night when Baszler, Shirai, Belair, LeRae, and Purrazzo were also on the card.
  • If they moved Shirai and Sane up to the main roster right now, they’d be the second best tag team (Hug’n Boss Connection come on) in the new women’s tag division.
  • Bianca Belair is a physical specimen who works really stiff, and her ponytail is legit down to the top of her boots. Deonna Purrazzo has gone blond and could be Natalya’s body double. Similar style to Natalya as well.
  • Matt Riddle had the crowd on fire. Another absolute physical specimen. Place went bananas when it was Riddle vs. Ryker in the ring squaring off. Riddle is a freaking Superstar.
  • Marcel Barthel could be a villain in a James Bond movie.
  • The Shayna Baszler vs. Candice LeRae Women’s Championship match was match of the night. They had great chemistry and the speedy high flyer vs. the ring technician was really working. Baszler is the top women’s heel in the entire company right now
  • There are certain things that certain people are put on this earth to do, and Patrick Clarke was put on this earth to be the most entertaining character in WWE. The crowd was chanting for Velveteen the minute they walked through the entrance. He’s the best male character in WWE right now, and it’s not even close.
  • Moment of the night: Velveteen Dream rips off his shirt mid-match to reveal a Tom Brady jersey as the crowd goes ballistic. Tommaso Ciampa rips jersey off of Velveteen about two minutes later and wipes his nether regions with it. Fantastic stuff.
