AEW News: Angelico signs with AEW, streaming and PPV distribution expected to be announced soon for Double or Nothing

-Angelico has signed with AEW. He had been posting on Twitter about his future this past week writing “Tomorrow. A Decision that will change my life and career.” He also tweeted, “Is it time for a change?” Angelico got some buzz teaming with Jack Evans in AAA initially where they were champions together three times. He also was used on the indies in the U.S., most notably in PWG. Angelico also spent time in Lucha Underground until he left the company in 2018. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported Angelico’s signing.

-AEW announced a PPV platform in the U.K. yesterday, as they’ll be teaming with ITV Box Office to air Double or Nothing for 14.99 in the U.K. PWTorch sources have indicated a PPV and streaming component are expected to be announced in the near future. The event is set to take place on May 25 in Las Vegas.
