-In an announcement earlier today at a press conference, NJPW officially announced that Jon Moxley’s first match in NJPW will be on June 5 at the BOSJ Final event against IWGP U.S. Champion Juice Robinson. The other big matches on the card include the BOSJ Finals and Jay White vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi.

-PWTorch reached out to NJPW GM Michael Craven regarding the details of Moxley’s agreement with NJPW and whether or not he would be a regular in NJPW going forward. You can read Craven’s statement to PWTorch below:

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s agreement with Jon Moxley was made independently of All Elite Wrestling. While I cannot comment on the specifics, those negotiations resulted in Moxley signing an agreement for multiple appearances outside North America.

NJPW has a long and rich history with our international partners, including CMLL in Mexico, ROH in America and RPW in the UK. Loyalty to our partners is of utmost importance to us as we continue to foster the premier network of wrestling talent in the world. We wish any new promotion nothing but the best in broadening the horizons of professional wrestling.
