NJPW News: Southern Showdown set to air exclusively on Fite.tv from Australia, complete lineup for event headlined by, win a free code to watch on Fite.tv

NJPW’s Southern Showdown will air live on Fite.tv at 5a.m Eastern time on June 29 from Melbourne, Australia on June 29. The show is airing live and exclusively on Fite.tv and then will be uploaded to NJPW World within 72 hours after the original airing. The show is headlined by IWGP Hvt. Champion Kazuchika Okada & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Jay White & Bad Luck Fale. The other big match on the card features IWGP Jr. Hvt. Champion Will Ospreay renewing his rivalry with Robbie Eagles in his native country.

Radican’s Analysis: This is a nice lineup ahead of the G1 Climax taking place next weekend. There are several title matches on the card that make this feel like more than just a showcase event for NJPW in Australia. Ospreay vs. Eagles for the Jr. Hvt. title should be tremendous and I expect it to steal the show. Romero and Phantasmo had a fantastic match during the BOSJ tournament earlier this year, so I expect this match for the British Cruiserweight Championship to be really good as well.
