  • Matt Taven had an interview with Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel, OrlandoSentinel.com. He discussed that he is keeping his contact decision “close to the vest.” It has been reported that his contract is up sometime this month. The outcome of his match with Rush on friday will help to show Taven’s decision.
  • The Shane Taylor quitting angle appears to have come to an end. Taylor is officially booked for Death Before Dishonor.
  • Bandido won PWG’s The Battle of Los Angeles event.

•Closing Commentary

Here we are. Death Before Dishonor is almost certainly the end of this current post-elite era of ROH. With the potential exit of Matt Taven and Marty Scurll, a new era will start after this show. I for one look forward to a new era of ROH. I hope that it gets back to the basics; young exciting talent having some of the best matches in the world before they are huge stars.

If ROH can quickly get back to this, I would be so excited. It gets very tiresome to write negative comments every week. I truly hope that ROH finds a way out of its current booking slump and starts a new great era for the company.
